Adventure Ed Trip

This whole week, I did not go to school. I actually went to the Washington Coast. I woke up at 5:00 AM on Sunday morning and took a shower because I knew I was going to get really dirty. I got to the school, got on the bus then headed off to the Washington Coast. I fell asleep twice on the bus ride. It was a really long bus ride. When we finally got to the south end at Rialto Beach I had to pack my bear can. Then we set off on the hike. In the beginning it felt very strange walking on the beach with a 30 pound backpack. Then I just got really used to walking with it. I think we hiked about 4.5 miles on the first day to the first camp site. Since I don't have enough time to talk about my great adventure on this trip. I guess I will talk about one of my favorite part of the trip. It was when Mitchell and I were right up in the front, concentrating on not slipping on the logs when Mr. Davis tells us to suddenly stop. Frightened of being in trouble, we looked up to Mr. Davis then we turned back around to be surprised to see a very big black bear staring right us about 75 yards in front of us. We started backing up 'till we got back with the group. I really liked sharing this experience with my friends. I thought that it was a really enjoyable trip.

That sounded like I really fun trip. Our group in Adventure Ed. had fun too. That's really cool that you got to see a bear, our group saw a bear too. What was your favorite campsite onthe trip? Did you guys eat a lot of muscles on the trip?

yo dude that would be awesome. what is a bear can. one time i went to a scout trip on a navy base in oak habor. on the second day of that trip we did sort of an amazing race theme activity. 30 pounds isn't that much.

Sounded like a fun trip! I was in Adventure Ed. last year. Your trip sounded kind of like the trip I went on. We didn't see a bear though. You will probably like the California trip better, as long as it doesn't rain there too!

That was such a fun trip! Although i cant stand sea weed anymore. That black bear was giant! 30 pounds is heavier than you would think, ecspeacilly for 25 MILES!! I liked the bear cans, they help get my food into a smaller area. I can't wait for the next trip!!

This was my favorite part too. Let's talk about posting a video clip of the bear on this entry.

I think thats sounds really fun. I wish I had seen a bear. I have never seen a bear before except in the zoo. I am going to be in adventure Ed in 3rd quarter and hope I have as much fun as you guys did.
